I have lived in Korea for almost five years, and currently teach at an elementary school in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The Chosun Bimbo is my rather "stream of consciousness" attempt at a blog and has been around in one form or another since about 2005. In that time a couple of posts have been published, including in The East, a London based community paper for Asian ex-pats living in the United Kingdom
In December 2008 The Chosun Bimbo was selected to appear on the South Korea section of AllTop, an Online magazine rack / RSS agrigator of popular topics.
In October 2009 The Chosun Bimbo was named in the Top 100 South Korea Blogs, another Online magazine rack / RSS agrigator of popular topics.

Professional
Stafford Lumsden has taught English as a Second Language in South Korea and New Zealand for six years. Graduating from The University of Auckland, New Zealand, with an undergraduate degree in Political Science, he is now studying for a a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics (TESOL) from Victoria University, Wellington, New Zealand.
Stafford completed the Cambridge University Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) at the International Graduate School of English in Seoul, South Korea in 2007.
Outside of teaching Stafford is a part time voice over actor providing narration to technical video and documentaries. He is a co - host of The Seoul Podcast with Joe McPherson of the Zen Kimchi Food Blog and Jennifer Young of Jennifer Teacher.
