School Lunch #5

And now, the thrilling conclusion to our 5 part series "What I had for lunch Today"

Well I warned you yesterday, Fridays run hot and cold when it comes to lunches, and today's was pretty luke warm. Clockwise from top left we have Eggplant with the ubiquitous sesame oil dressing, Pickled radish kimchi goodness, Pork Galbi Jjim (돼지갈비찜) Cabbage Dweunjang Soup (배추된장국) and, of course, Steamed Rice.

Of all of those the soft (steamed?) Eggplant was the highlight. The Dweunjang was insipid and cold and the pork tasteless and chewy.

Bimbo Rating: ★1/2

It's a bit harsh, I know, but more than anything today's dishes were just a touch boring.

This concludes our insightful look into school lunches. I don't think Jamie Oliver would be all that impressed, but some of the dishes we've explored this week certainly have potential.

That being said, I might just go out for Pizza on Monday!
