    A Few Quick Notes

It snowed for about twenty minutes this afternoon. The first of the season. So I took my fourth graders outside to muck about:

In other news Saturday is moving day. Apparently the rent is going up in my current officetel so my school has found me a comparable place in the middle of Gangnam.

No more walking to school, instead I will have to rejoin the morning subway commute. Something I am not overly impressed with, but you know what they say. A move is as good as a change. It will also do me nicely for the next month as I continue to teach evening classes at Seocho Elementary, literally just across the road. (and up a giant f*cking hill!)

Upshot being you will have to bare with me if I don't post until next week when I'm up and running, or all settled down (take your pick) in my new residence. Hopefully the internet will be up and running for Sunday when I will fill in for Jennifer Young on The Seoul Podcast as we talk to Grace Park. (Not the BSG one as Joe pointed out), but rather the Grace Park from Crazy Korean Cooking. Check out Miss Park's blog for some delicious fun (and I'm not necessarily talking about the food) as a primer for the Seoul Podcast one week hence.

Elsewhere we certainly, most definitely are talking about the cricket, with New Zealand bowling Australia out in the first day of the first test for 214 runs. One can't help but think that it won't last however. Such is the advantage of dual citizenship. I can't loose. (But God how I would love to see NZ wipe the floor with Australia. Just once! My guess, we hold on for a draw, or are cleaned out before lunch on day four.)

Expect Dave to have a few words on the subject, 'specially since his boy Andrew Symonds is back on The Australian team and made a fairly decent contribution with the bat today all things considered.
