Meeting Strange Men Off The Internet

Proof that Joe McPherson (a.k.a. King Sejong) is infact real, and not a figment of my imagination.

Joe and I met up in person on Saturday for the first time, despite having communicated via various media for something close on Six months now.

After a couple of beers and spaghetti for lunch at Castle Praha in Gangnam we headed up the road for a few more beers stopping off at Starburger so Joe could sample the best burgers in Korea Seoul Gangnam:

Of course Joe knows a thing or two about burgers. And no that's not a jab at him, if you haven't already check out the ₩180,000 he had earlier this year.

Speaking of The Seoul Podcast, there will be a live show this New Years Eve, and I know this after spending a few minutes testing it out with Joe this evening. Go to http://www.seoulpodcast.com/liveshow at about 11pm KST on the 31st to join in the frivolity.

I've said it before and i'll probably say it again . . . Joe looks different in every single picture I see of him.

He looks younger than I thought he would.

I'll probably be listening in this New Years Eve to the live podcast. Will you be able to download it it one can't listen to it live?

Brian: "Joe looks different in every single picture I see of him."

What else do you expect of someone with ADD and a Korean girlfriend?

Seriously, I'm totally carrying the Kim Jong-il vibe with that look that day.

Dave: Pretty sure Joe is recording the show in addition to streaming it live. I'll be making a live report from Tokyo hopefully, If that's not a reason to listen I don't know what is!
