Have been meaning to post this for ages.

For those who didn't know, Seoul is pretty famous for its healthy (or almost unhealthy?) dose of night life. Recently, a civil organization called Citizen's Movement for No Prostitution published "escort businesses map" of Gangnam Gu, southern part of Seoul.

As expected, the whole Gangnam area is found to be jam-packed with various kinds of nightlife places where people can drink and, if they want, buy sex.

all this in a country that still doesn't let students enter the dorm of the opposite sex.

Several years ago the US military published a "white paper" about Itaewon establishments that were selling sex and hence why GIs were banned. It sent out some under cover MPs to various establishments, got them to try and buy sex, and then they dutifully wrote up which pubs were providing which services and for how much.

The unintended consequence was this document became a "paid sex guide to Itaewon", telling people in plain english exactly where they could go for what and how much.
