Vank Must Be Over The Moon!

Indeed Vank is probably wetting itself in glee.

Daum reports on a number of Atlas sites (especially two German ones) that have ceded to what must be continuous calls to change the nomenclature of a certain body of water to the right of Korea that shall not be named.

German Atlas server welt-atlas.de provides a couple of interesting points here in German we see The Sea of Japan labeled Oostmeer (East Sea) on it's German language version of the political map of Korea.

Whilst in reference to Japan the atlas makes a concession to Japan by placing "Sea of Japan" under East Sea in this English Language version:

Meanwhile Worldtravels shows both sides of the coin with East Sea on their map, but an adjacent thumbnail clearly still says Sea of Japan.

I have said before that I think the East Sea argument is a spurious one given that a) International convention is behind it, and b) if you are quick enough you'll catch out many Koreans that will say the West Sea is actually The Yellow Sea - totally negating their argument.

That being said If Vank can see it's way to brainwashing convincing enough people then The East Sea may well become the new default, which I wouldn't be able to argue with.

Indeed Vank is probably wetting itself in glee.

My suspicion is that they use this as whack-off material.

I love how the "worldtravels" map has Gwangju labeled as Gyeongju.
