Immigration Tales: Success! (Mostly)
Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 12:45 PM Back in Korea, my first order of business was to return to immigration (₩700,000 poorer) to get my E6 visa.
Returning to the Investigations branch to fork over my receipt I got my paperwork back with little fuss. Back on the first floor I knew things were looking up when I got my little ticket thing and had no one in front of me! How often does that happen?!!?
Long story short: immigration has my passport and ID card and promises that I can pick them up Next week....
Meaning another trip to Immigration.
Somewhat disconcerting - I have no identification... except for the receipt immigration gave me. Here's hoping no one asks for my papers in the next couple of days.

Congratulations and welcome to the E6 club! Hope everything works out smoothly!
I've been wanting to visit Korea however aside from visa payment it'd take more than a month to process and it requires a big amount of money on my bank account.
Usually most immigration stories are hard at first but later on the immigrants learn to adjust and adopt themselves in their new home.
