Though it's only an entry level machine without much bells and whistles, this machine does brew a decent cup of espresso and cappuccino or latte if you get the hang of using the panarello wand. If you do drink at least 2 cups a day, rest assured that it will pay off within a few months (especially when coffee chains keep raising prices). Happy brewing!

David comments on Moving Day

Having lived in Daegu for 2 years (Daegu Dave for a while there) I have to say it was by far my favourite place in Korea.

No doubt you'll enjoy the lifestyle and the great food. This little machine is easy to use and no need to tamp. I wish I had gone with the Via Venezia. Overall good quality machine, and much better than Starbucks subscription in the office. (Smells good though!) My two cents.

Stafford comments on So This is Christmas

@Kevin - You're not the first to mention that, and it took me a while to realize that you are all, of course correct. I jumped in a cab last night, and in my most impeccable Seoulite accent I asked to go to 명덕역... Taxi driver stared at me blankly. In my practiced Chungcheongnam-do -ese, still no luck, so I had to end up spelling it out in the air in front of his face before he got it.
Totally not his fault, but it's going to take me a while to figure it out!

Kevin Kim comments on So This is Christmas

Merry Christmas, dude, and welcome to your new home.
